July 2026 Highlights

Malaysia Women Artists Association Continues Promoting Art for Well-being

July was a meaningful month for the Malaysia Women Artists Association (MWAA / PSWM) as we continued our mission of promoting creativity, connection, and community through art.

Our Healing Art • Art in the Garden – Mandala Art Healing Workshop will take place on 25 July 2026 at Blessing LIFE Centre, Penang. Led by certified Mandala Art facilitator Justina Teh, the workshop invites participants to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and experience the therapeutic benefits of mindful art-making in a warm and supportive environment.

Earlier this month, MWAA also successfully organised the Neurographic Adult Art Workshop in Kuching, Sarawak, conducted by Sheila Kho. The workshop introduced participants to Neurographic Art, an innovative therapeutic drawing method that encourages self-reflection, emotional balance, and creative exploration. The programme received an encouraging response and reflected the growing interest in art as a pathway to personal well-being.

Through these initiatives, MWAA remains committed to making art more accessible while fostering lifelong learning, emotional wellness, and meaningful artistic connections across Malaysia.
